Final Call for Sunday’s Tournament ♟️
📅 This month’s tournament is taking place tomorrow, May 22nd, at 11am EST (10am CST, 9am MT, 8am PST). As a reminder, this is the general info:
This is perfect for kids 5-15 years old, or players rated under 1600
The tournament will go for about 60 minutes I will be online 10 minutes before to help with technical difficulties.
The tournament is free
Currently, 26 students are signed up.
This is the Zoom link (and the password is Smile, with a capital S).
✏️ TO REGISTER: Reply to this email with your intention to play.
Do you know other children that want to play? Have them join as well. If you can’t make this month’s tournament, don’t worry—we have them monthly (though June will be skipped, as I will be traveling).
👓 TO (JUST) WATCH: On Zoom link, we will be solving live puzzles from everybody’s games. Last time, we found the best moves in others’ games (“how does one win a piece here?” “How do you checkmate?").

Log into your lichess.org account and go to Zoom link
Sign up using the JOIN button in the top right (like the one below)
On the day of the tournament, have the link open. Your games will start automatically, shortly after some announcements.
